Meet the team

I began my career as a wedding planner in 2007, a few years after planning my own wedding, and completing training through the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants.  My detail-oriented personality and organization skills helped to play big part in discovering this passion.  When I am not planning weddings, I am camping by a lake and paddleboarding with my dog. I love traveling to new places, my favorite place I've traveled to is Hawaii.​ 

• Favorite part of a wedding day: When I fluff the bride's train and send her down the aisle to meet her groom, because then I can take a deep breath and enjoy the moment we have all gathered for; to witness two people's love for each other.

I have always loved planning, whether it is a birthday, vacation or BBQ.  My dedication to the event, the details and organization is so worth it to see it all come full circle. I began my career with the Event Planning program at Salt Lake Community College and joined the Wedding Expectations team in 2019. I am football mom and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

 I'm so happy to join the Wedding Expectations team! Creating memorable experiences that will be remembered fondly by you and your loved ones is my passion. There is no greater feeling than seeing a client completely happy and at ease on their most special day. My background and experience in event planning, from large to small groups, has equipped and prepared me to assist you. I bring positive energy, strong attention to detail, creativity and communication skills to each wedding I assist with.  Outside of event planning, my other passions include: traveling and exploring new places, being active (especially in any body of water) and spending time with my husband and two children.

I love, love, love wedding planning and being a part of the Wedding Expectations team is a dream come true.  I am a wife, mother, friend, and doer of all things creative.  I love to get my hands dirty – painting, cooking, gardening.  My attention to detail and organization skills will make your event run as seamless and smooth as possible.  I’m excited to help create the wedding of your dreams. When not working I am camping by a lake and jet skiing with my husband and kids.  Or you can find me in the kitchen cooking a yummy meal, reading a good book, or spending time with my family.

• Favorite part of a wedding day: THE VOWS. I think perhaps the real magic isn’t just in the location, it’s in the people.  It’s the vows we make, and the ones we have yet to make.  Creating memories to help us stay close, or sometimes even find our way back to our family, our friends, and the love we’ll keep forever.

I have been a part of wedding planning for most of my adult life. My family has often been involved in several weddings from the planning, to the decorating, to the last detail of sending off the happy couple. When I started my career with Wedding Expectations in 2021 it was like I was in my natural environment.  I am a mom who loves to craft and spend time with her family. 

• Favorite part of a wedding day: The pure joy on the couples face as they prepare to get married and celebrate such a big milestone

I love wedding planning and have been obsessed with everything weddings since I was 5 years old. Little bit about me, I'm in bodybuilding and spend all my time at the gym when I'm not working. I love being organized and getting things done right, while having a good time. I like to bring a positive attitude and fun happy energy to wedding days just to relieve any stress people may have. 

• My favorite part of a wedding day is helping the bride right before she walks down the aisle, just the feeling of that meoment and getting to be the last person to send her off into her future is such a special moment to me.

 I have always loved flowers, and after working as a florist's assistant I made it a hobby of mine to make corsages and boutonnières for school dances and helping friends and family with wedding flowers. I love creating with lots of different mediums and have started to love gardening. I joined the team at Wedding Expectations in 2016.
