How long have you been in business?

Wedding Expectations was founded in 2006. The team has over 22 years' combined experience in the industry.  

Do you work with LGBTQ + couples?

Yes! We would be more than happy to be a part of your day.

My venue has a coordinator, why do I need to hire you?

A venue coordinator will handle logistics that involve your venue specifically. Such as vendor parking, general timeline, setup of tables and chairs (if included), and basic needs (lights, temperature, etc). We will help execute ALL of your wedding day details including setup any decor, instruct vendors of timeline events throughout the day, coordinate vendor arrival and departure times, line up wedding party for ceremony, cue musicians, etc.

Do you do day of coordinaation?

Our coordination package begins at 3 months before the wedding, so that we are fully aware of all of your details and are adequately prepared for your wedding day. We will be in contact with all of your vendors before the wedding as well, to make sure everyone is on the same page. But also, to relieve you of some of those last-minute details and stress.

What sets you apart from other planners I've talked to?

A few things set us apart from some other planners. 

  • First, we offer in house florals as well, which helps to streamline your entire vision and one less vendor to communicate with. 
  • Second, we have a large inventory of decor available to you which again helps makes things easier. 
  • Lastly, we have a large team so you can be assured that your event will be flawless.
  • We can create custom packages to suit your needs.

Do I have to use your preferred vendors?

We will give you our recommendations based on people we have worked with before, but ultimately you can choose to work with any vendor you would like. Including other florists. 

I am not sure what services I need; can you help?

We can customize a package to suit your needs from the beginning. Or if you chose one package and need to ad on to it later, we can do that! Our services include coordination, help with event design, full service planning, floral design, and much more. 

How do I know if we are a good fit?

Every couple has different needs, communication styles, and personalities. In order to better serve you, once you have decided we are the company for you we start with a questionnaire to get to know you a little better. From there we do our best to meet your expectations throughout our time together. We do not put time restraints on our communication with you, we are here to help make your process easier! We encourage you to view our testimonials to see what past couples have to say.

What are the next steps?

We will send an agreement and invoice. You can choose to pay in 3 payments or in full up front, with some additional perks for doing so. Once you sign your agreement and pay your invoice you will receive a welcome packet with next steps, including a call with your planner/coordinator, and access to our planning software program where you can begin! 

How soon can I rent decorations from you?

We typically send you a reminder to do so about 2 months before your event, but if there are some things you KNOW you must have, you can reserve them at any time! Our rentals are first come first serve.
